Me and my family had a great time; we went on Saturday stopping at a travelodge in readyness for an early start Sunday, and we met some great people who were doing the same.

Agreed! well done to Scott,Chris and Micky for contacting people, sorting tickets for us and for designing, ordering and collecting the banners in time.(not in that order). Well done chaps, sorry if i've missed anyone out.

Can't wait till the next one.

Just got home. Thanks to everyone for a wicked weekend.

FITP stand looked absolutely amazing so well done everyone involved in sorting out banners etc. Rain ruined it a bit but still an ace day.

And after only having about 15 minutes of sleep last night due to not being able to get Bex off the dance floor i'm gonna have an early night !

Hope to see you all again soon

Thank you very much for all the kind words people, it does mean a lot. Like has been said, it is a shame that the weather wasn't too kind to us down there, I've just got home and found out that its been real nice up here all weekend long lol. But, that didn't spoil things too much, we all had a great time there and as long as everyone enjoyed themselves then thats the most important thing. I know I personally had a great time all over the weekend even with my customary moment of daftness - I'm sure you'll know what that is from one of threads over the weekend, and you'll read more about it in due course anyways!!

Just to add that while we did put a lot of time and effort into organising the weekend, it is a two way street. We couldn't have had a stand without the members who took the time and effort into coming down there, so I would like to take this chance to thank each and every one of you for that. I hope to see you all again soon.

Take care
ChrisC

I gotta say Kev's highlight has to be driving into the hotel car park where most of my lot were parked (along with some Focus ST members and ZSOC members) and wondering just who the hell that mad woman running up to his car & waving was!!

It was a really good day even though the weather was usless. Good turn out for our first event aswell. Few pics i got on the day.

These guys from stoc came past me and gave me a wave. Convoyed with them which was good because a junction on the A1m was shut and i would have got really lost if i didn't have them to follow

And only if i had the money, Every time i went for a walk around ended up hear. First time round Julie tried to hide the car from me but to late

, this is true .

Me, my wife and Daughter arrived at our Travelodge at about 4pm on Saturday,
and these were already there...

After sorting ourselves out we went for a drive to find the place where we were to meet up with Scott and the rest of them on Sunday morning.

On the way back my wife pointed out where the STOC were staying.

At around 7pm i was totally bored with our one bedroom lodge and said to my mrs i was going to have a look at the other lodge that she pointed out, well!! when i got there! i was stunned! to say the least! 's everywhere.

As i rolled into the car park and looked into my door mirror, some woman started waving her arms furiously. I reversed the car and wound down the window,
"are you the Colonel?" she asked. "I'm Pinky. Pink Rinse"

OMG!!! I was flabagasted! and so pleased!!

At that point loads of others came and welcomed me... .

Thanks all , it was such a nice thing as i was on my own at the time.

So, here are the rest of my pics of the weekend, starting off with James' car on the Saturday night...

After a short nights sleep and making friends with some chaps from Holland who wanted to convoy the short distance from our meeting point, we headed to Huntingdon......

Well, the weather got the better of us all and we went our seperate ways..Me and my family had a great weekend seeing and meeting new and old faces; thanks everyone, .

Hey All,

Just want to say a big thank you to Scott and Chris for sorting this I know allot of hard work went in to getting the banner sorted and arranging everything. They both did a very professional job our stand looked very good!.

Another huge thank you to Bex (Pixar) for letting us stay for the weekend in her beautiful home ! I hope you managed to find all those sweets after the food fight we had !.

Finally thanks to everyone who turned up for the event both on the Saturday and who I met on the Sunday allot of new faces and plenty of old ones. The rain put a bit of a damper on it but it was nice to see everyone even if it was only briefly. I am looking forward to Newquay this year were hopefully i'll be able to spend more time with everyone!.

It was certianly an eventfull weekend, plenty of convoy action for us who stayed over, Chris locking his keys in the boot... DOH lol!, and some of us went ice skating which was good fun even if I did hurt my foot!.

Here are a few of my favourite pics from the weekend in no particular order!.

Some pics from Ice Skating..

Like something out of the Exorcist! (Craig)

"How You Doinnnn!" (bex,PIXAR)

Someone got a pic of me ice skating... who was that ?? (Im the one who looks like he is about to fall over, Not that it helps!)

Chris dreaming of sunny weather, an open road and his ST.... or hes wondering how he managed to lock his keys in the boot

Nice Stripes Kev!

Nice!!!!

Liking the stripes... you tempted Matt ???

Looking good!

<Shakes Head>

<shakes head again>

Stunning!

I like it!

Am in love!!!!!!

Nice Rally Slag

Me caught on camera!

One for Kev!

Chris driving with me and Scott in to Birmingham!

one of Scotts pics but wow!

The AA man working his magic on chris car... Abra Kadabra!

He is getting his stick out to beat Chris over the head with it

Fabrix wiping his nose on chris's car when he was not looking!

Soundraiser were you at FITP 2005? I was parked up next to a Dutch guy and had a few others parked on another stand just behind us. When I got to my hotel there were two others polishing their mk5 Fiestas (one was a really nice metallic purple) and they were doing that for HOURS...
