Bill im actualy a copper who works just up from where u had your bumpers nicked(Bordesley green/Stechford) and i can tell any1 who lives around brum, solihull, sutton areas that theres a HUGE boom in fiesta ST bodykit thefts.
I was in chambers of sutton the other week chatting to a sales guy who told me that they can't display ST's on the forecourt after they had a week of about 5 of them stripped.
When out on patrol i have to admit to taking a bit more notice of where my fellow ST owners park and keeping a eye out whenever passing
Oh and btw hi all this is my 1st post here, had my ST 8 months now after owning 2 focus ST170s.Have to admit im getting very angry with it due to some severe pulling since i had it,ford tell me there nowt wrong with it after a test drive but it feels like some1 yanks the steering to the left at times,oh and the damm phone/bluetooth almost never works once i get over 50mph,other than that tho its a wicked car.

Thanks all for your comments. STrange - I was told by Bristol St Motors that they thought there was a gang going around just 'doing' STs. You also mentioned the pulling issue - during the repairs to my car I have had a courtesy car and realise what a nicer drive it is than my own car. I love the ST's performance and the Bluetooth etc, but I'm fed up with fighting the steering wheel and getting such a hard ride. Now that the new panels will be fitted and the car looking as good as it ever will, I might just sell it and get a more comfortable car! If I sold privately - any suggestions about what I could/should ask for an 06 Perfomance Blue ST, 14000 miles, climate control, voice control, Bluetooth, folding door mirrors, etc?

Well... I finally got my car back yesterday and handed over my excess £200. Today I returned home to find the front bumper stolen AGAIN. This time it was parked in the nice residential street in Edgbaston where I live. I'm not going to feel safe leaving this car anywhere, so I will have to sell it.

Is there anywhere in Bham I could get this work done for much less than the £200 excess that I will have to pay again?

Sorry to hear that you've had that done again RIGHT after you'd got it back from last time. Tbh I don't blame you for wanting to sell it now, as I'm sure you'll be worried about it just happenning again after that.
