Hi all

I've just found this site so I thought I'd try it out. I got my ST on 1st Sept last year after an agonising 17 week wait but by God she was worth it!!

She's Frozen White with blue stripes.

Options:
Privacy glass
ESP (inc Reflex pack)
Climate control
Powerfold mirrors
MP3 connection (only option left to try out - just bought an IPod)
Rain sensing wipers & auto headlights

Think that's it!!

No mods... Yet...

Done 3904 miles so far.

Hello to all

Sounds like you're really loving your maybe get some pics up for us when you get the chance.

Yes, but just bought a house so I need to decide.... Decorating or car?

Sounds like an easy choice but Leigh's got a white 3dr Cossie so if I buy stuff for mine then I can't stop him spending a small fortune on his!!!

Thanks Chris . I'm not good at the photos bit, I'll practise a bit and ask Leigh!

Glad you like them.

Hello Nichola and welcome to the site. I love the 3-door Sierra Cosworths...

Hang on a minute.. that's an RS500 front bumper (and splitter)... Is this a real 500 or does it only have the bumper of one?

Yeah, it's 'only' a 3 dr. It has some RS500 stuff on it, and to go on it. She has almost 400 BHP and, with her road-legal-slicks on, she's very fast and sticky at the moment.

Very nice.

But I love my ST...

You can't compare them at all. My baby will never be as fast and raw as the Cossie, but the Cossie will never be as refined with all the options I've got etc, but then, that's not why you buy a Cossie!!!

OMG... with 400bhp the pull must be amazing! Do you attend any of the meets with it like RSOC National day, Rally day, etc? How does the gearbox hold up with so much power... presumably the torque is on the up too...

Indeed, but I'd be interested to see what it has to help it through the corners with that sort of power.

They were not bad handling cars Sierras. Provided the right kind of rubber is fitted there's plenty of grip.

Sorry for the late reply, we've bought a new place and have been really busy.

God knows how the rest of the car handles the power, but it does, quite frightening really. No idea what the 0-60 is in her, really ought to find out....

We do go to RS shows, National day etc. But I prefer Ford Fair, we can take both this year!! I won't be racing him though!!!

Oh, as for cornering..... He's got road legal slicks on.... Grips like you wouldn't believe.

Leigh's on PF site and the owners club. I stick to the 's!!
