Anyone interested:-

Hi All,
Fancy a 1/4 mile race?

At the end of every race you get an official certificate of, how fast, times, and your reaction at the start, etc.

RWYB (Race What Ya Bring) days at Santa Pod are:-

Sun 2nd Sept.
Sat 22nd Sept.
Sat 6th Oct.
Sun 14th Oct.
Sun 28th Oct.
Sun 4th Nov.

All thats required is you, your car, (whatever it may be), and your driving licence.

Prices are:- £10 admission and £20 'Sign In' = UNLIMITED runs.

It is first come first served, so would need organising......MODS .

I'm up for it, and i know Craig is, there's one race.

Anyone else?

I recon it would be a great day out, and great for the crowd to see 's on the strip.

You have my vote Kev... I told you the other weekend I was a little gutted to not be there but since I had only been in my new job for a week and havn't had a pay cheque since X-mas I was a lil strapped for cash.

If we sort a date out then I'll be happy to get organising... i'm sure you guys can help

Sun 2nd Sept. <---- Trax at Silverstone
Sat 22nd Sept. <---- My Birthday
Sat 6th Oct. <---- Back @ Uni on 1st

Is there no others during that could be attended... might be able to do my B'day if enough people up for it.

Those are the only dates for RWYB, so, how about Sunday 14th October,

Anyone up for the challenge.

If anyone wants to just come along and spectate, that would be great too because we do need some pics taken.

If possible we need at least 4 photographers.

1 At the start line.
1 Half way down the track.
1 At the finish line.
And 1 to take a pick of Craigs face after i beat him.

If you do come along to watch you won't be left alone on the side. The way Santa Pod is set out means you can all be together until your time to race.

The 14th of October would be OK for me. I wouldn't be able to make either of the September ones - the first is the same day as Trax, and the second would be coming right after Rockingham, then Newquay, then Trax, then Donington(Renault Day) in consecutive weeks - paying for another long trip in such a short space of time would be stretching things for me a bit much.

I think if we told them that we from an forum they would be fine.

When i was there a couple of weeks ago the two RS200's went up against each other, and they knew each other too.

When i was there a couple of weeks ago the two RS200's went up against each other, and they knew each other too.



You can select if you wish to race with another car or not...

Usually people are really good with changing over lanes and going up against the same or similar cars... or your friends.

I did 20 runs one of the days I went... literally down the track... raced down the side and then went again... was amazing... so much for my clutch by the end though lol.

Nope...no one would change lane with me and when I got there the guy got really annoyed with me when I said I didnt wanna race the Evo. Must have been having a bad day!!

I do find it really funny when you get an Evo and they are sitting there all snug with a slow looking car by the side of them... then once they race the other car flys off down the track and beats it... lol.

yep it would be great to be "that" guy! unfortunately my ST will never be an Evo killer!
