Ah, I was wondering when someone might raise this topic too as I'm potentially interested as well.

I've got my current 206 lowered on an Apex spring and shock kit. To be honest, the ride quality is awful but I did do it on the cheap (the kit only cost £200) and more for the looks than the handling benefit.

I do think that the ST sits a little too high though and could benefit from a decent drop on a quality kit. Whilst I wouldn't want to get it done straight away, I am tempted to save up for a decent adjustable shock Koni kit and I'm sure there'll be plenty about seeing as the Mk6 Fiesta has been around for a few years now.

Correct me if I'm wrong though, doesn't the Fiesta (much like other small hatches) have a torsion bar rear suspension setup?

the rear isnt torsion. its a damper and spring.

Ford will be releasing the standard Ford lowering soon (eibach springs <- top brand springs) and will lower around 35mm

BUT if you wanna go lower you will have to wait vor KW or H&R to release there adjustable springs. they will lower from standard height to around 5cm.

DONT cut back on money for your lowering. afterwards you will hate yourself for it!

Cheers for clearing that up Dirkxke ST.

My 206 has torsion bar rear suspension and it was a pain to get that lowered, took about 4 hours!

I couldn't agree more about not cutting corners when lowering, like I said above my 206 has a cheap kit on and the ride is awful, embarrassingly so at times. I might look out for the Eibach kit as I know they're a reputable brand. When you say that Ford will be releasing them, does this mean they will be available through dealers and will keep your warranty intact?
