so far in terms of cars my ST has nailed recently: Twat reps in Last shape Golf / Passat Tdi's bout even to start with then ST pulling away from bout 70mph Again tailgating reps (what is their problem) Mondeos 1.8 / 2.0 - ST150 gradually pulling away all the way....especially 90 mph onwards MGZR120 - straight passed!!!! New Golf TDi 2.0 M1 - pulling away then dicked on from 80 mph onwards!!! Saxo VTR on dual carriage way - totally mullerd him !!! Nova Sri which I scared the shit out of as i pulled up behind him rather rapidly!!!! ... ST150 totally comes alive at bout 80 mph and pulls like hell!!!!!!

I know what you mean about tail gating reps!!! I get loads of them examining my shiny chrome pipe Half the time I cant be naffed as I know in a few hundred yards I'll be right behind them at traffic lights or road works or something but there's a tiny spurt of dual carriageway at national speed limit (70)near me and if they try to undertake me on the roundabout or are up my pipe (ooer missus) I just wave, smile and boot it

I have had a Corsa and Astra and didn't really get on with either. Obviously I have never gone over 70mph in my ST, but I have heard what others have done On the flat she pulls up to 120mph fast, then takes a little longer to get to 130mph where she stops. When tried downhill she went up to 140mph on the speedo and that was not far from the rev limiter and she wasn't going any faster. Has anyone had a dabble with the new golf 2.0 tdi sports? They are bloody fast, it was neck and neck. Off the mark I kill them but when you are going on the motorway its not as easy.

dontpannic: Horrible news about Stevie, had a bad feeling about it when I saw his hospital selfie on FB
dontpannic: While I'm here (it's been a while), looks like my account is FUBAR... can't post anywhere, can't view user profiles etc, any chance someone can restore my access at all?
kenny: I haven’t got the power so must of been Chris or Scott
kenny: tried ebay etc, you can the gearbox so cheap now loads on ebay ]
JimboSlice: anyone know where i can get a gearbox filler plug? lol threads on mine are beyond knackered!
kenny: Do you mean the plug or the actual bolt with the thread on it
kenny: Thread on eBay starting at £6 to £18 the plugs 18mm 3 for £2.95 👍
Tford: Anyone know how to sort out front bumper sag on Mk7 st
kenny: There is a few YouTube vids which should show you how to lift the bumper back up
Brabbit79: Done my 1st track day today in my 2006 St150, ii was topping oil up 500ml ever 10 laps give and take. No leaks or blue smoke. Anyone else had this.
Kaxe: I hope you are all doing well!
kenny: hows the mk3 rs mate
_Jimmy_: @Brabbit79 it's probably oil passing the piston rings at high revs, used to happen with mine too but normal driving it wouldn't use much oil at all
kenny: seems there is a data base error on the forum
Scotty: @Kenny - Can you see the topic threads again now please?
DAVE T ST: Hi, All, I was thinking about Kev today so thought I'd pop back to see how you all are
ChrisCumbria: Hi Dave, I'm keeping well thanks. Kevin will always be in our hearts.
Brabbit79: @ _Jimmy_: Hi Jimmy, sorry not been on here for a while. Only just seen your reply, thank you. I thought that might be the case.
kenny: I do miss kev, was always a good laugh
