Finally got round to fitting my induction kit today. Not to how the manufature says but this way means cooler less restrictve air flow.
Its only a short term thing until i can get some money together beacuse the pipe i was looking at was £140

It was a nightmare to do because i sussed one bit out then something else needed modifying to fit. (isn't it always like that)

The wire holding the filter up is only there until i can get some cable ties to hold it in place.

Next cold air feed & to clean the engine bay

It picks up alot faster. probably not much more bhp just more responsive. Until my exhaust is sorted not going to feel the gains. Its blowing really bad now but got bits on the way that should fix it just waiting again

Have you got the cone clamped to the rubber intake hose ?
If you have your not going to get a good airtight fit, allowing air to be sucked in without going thru the filter, probably too much air intake for good performance, also the chance of the cone becoming detatched from the hose.

Well spotted. Yes the hose goes inside the cone. I used a bead of silicone around the hose then push it on so it makes an air tight gaskit.
