Has anyone used chipbusters to heal the wounds before? Some jolly nice fellow has smacked my door with something leaving a 1" dent at the bottom and a gash in the bump strip. Just wondering if I should use them or dealer for repair? I have the urge to kill now!!

Would probably be cheaper to go direct to dentsaway or similar, the dealer will do the same thing but charge you heavily for the effort.

The bf had a dent repaired today for £70. It was a crease in the passenger door, ended at the rubbing strip and was about.. 3-4 inches long. Apparently the door looks better than before lol He used a reputable company in Essex.

I'll be going there to have a crease in the rear 1/4 panel sorted so I might post pics & let you know etc.

Agreed there.

About 18 months ago i took the wifes Sport KA in for an insurance repair to the divers door, she had it doubled back on itself in high winds and damaged the door hinge, 'A' post, and wing. Insurance bill to that £350.

Someone had obviously done the same thing parked next to her on the passenger side, but the wifes passenger car door stopped it from going back on itself.

I had to pay seperately for the repair to her passenger door out of my own pocket, or else it was a second claim on the insurance.

That was £250 Extra.

And i know for a fact that all they did was to call out a Dent Craft/ Dent Buster, company, and the garage added their lot on top; but proving that i had'nt been scammed was'nt worth the effort and just paid it.

So, from experience, get a quote from a dentbuster etc. first
