how cant i view the pics on the site , i see some of them but not most of them

We have had some problems with our image uploader. We are in the process of moving everything over to a different provider but there have been issues along the way. All the images are safe. I know how frustraiting this is for everyone as pictures are a big part of the site. Please bare with us as the team are doing there best but at the moment it is out of our hands and we are waiting. Scotty has been making phone calls everyday to try and sort this out so its not for lack of trying.

Short term we have been using photobuckt and then the team have been saving all the images so when our uploader is back up we can put them onto our own server.
If you want to use photobucket to host your images please do.

is uploader working yet? seem like a while now

It's still not up and running again Jimmy. Once again, I can only apologise once again for the long delays in this. It is out of our hands at the minute, it's not that we aren't trying to sort it out, and I can understand how it is frustrating for everyone, the team included.

All I can ask if for everyone to please continue baring with us on this for the time being, it will be up again at some point. We will make sure that everyone is informed as soon as it's back up again.

I'm having trouble getting hold of the image uploader owner who was an adminstrator on this website and helped develop it from the start. I've been trying for 3 months now with no sucess. I was promised it would be sorted but I do not know the circumstances that he may be under currently so nothing I can do.

I shall add a new image uploader and try to restore as much backup content from the meets/events archives as possible but for the rest of the images I may have to wait a little longer.

It shall be sorted before too long, sorry for the delay everyone... if you can, please don't move any files when you use photobucket etc to stop the rest cross' being placed on the boards.

I was checking some old post like mine for example and everything is just red cross! Don't to cause any problem but a site with just red cross is not good for visitors or members

I agree that it is very frustrating for everyone when they try and find things in old posts, and they are currently not able to.

I know it maybe sounds like we're parrotting the same lines over and over, but once again I can only apologise for this.

It will be sorted in time, it's just a question of when though. We are doing our very best to try and sort things, but we're just struggling to get in contact with the relevant people at the moment.

It may seem that we're not doing anything, but I can assure everyone that we are. Once it is sorted then we will inform everyone.
