Thought you guys might help. So as to do wiring from the ignition to the cig lighter i think i should remove the plastic onto which the cig lighter holds to and the plastic in the footwell (the one with vents) any ideas how to remove these, do they just unclip like the handbrake one?

From the handbrake to the centre console that's the easy 'pull off' plastic but the bit you need to get to = be careful because I broke a plastic self-tapping screw pulling mine off by the 'vents' ...behind these vents are the air blower pipes and pollen filter so do unscrew them and don't pull!

any ideas where the screws are kaxe?

There is a small plastic screw right at the back of that vent by the right pedal side!

ok ... erm .. bit by bit does the job. do i just push the cigarette lighter up from underneath the gaiter? there is the chrome ring and the plastic ring. i think the plastic rind is part of the surroundings though?

urmm .. that's not my car i just found the pic off the internet so that i could use as reference. I think somebody else might know the answer to your question though =)

anywhooo I'd kill for one but it wont fit so I just put my foot under my clutch on the motorway!

i love those pedals but they're too expensive for simple metal to the pedal .. lol
