Right then you lot, here's my pics from the Meet!

Started out with me and Joe going to a hand car wash, and she looked gleaming!

then we headed away from Hull at around 9 am, but got stuck in traffic on the A1079, then the A64, doh!

We wanted to get there for 10am, but thanks to this traffic, the GPS said 11:05!

Bloody caravanners holding everone up, nice exhaust on this beast tho!

Finally we met up with everyone and got some pics in the pub carpark

Then we went for a drive for everyone to go get petrol! Before us getting lost with ChrisCumbria!

Then we met up on the side of the road trying to arrange where to meet with the other ST boys!

Then onto a random country road!

Then we parked up for a bit of a photoshoot, got some half-decent pics as shown here:

I have a pic of everyones' ST exactly the same as this, if you want one pm me

that one is a bit poo cos of the car in the background but the others are pretty good!

All in all here is my conclusion:

Good points:

Got to meet you all
Got to see some nice cars!
Got to see some nice countryside
Enjoyed the bit of driving that was on smooth tarmac

Bad points:

When we were taking photos it went on a bit long for me, got very boring. But thats just me.
Driving down gravel roads with potholes isnt my idea of fun, even though i wasn't in my own car, in my eyes there was no fun factor.
People driving fast on gravel whilst videoing i also didn't see the appeal, but each to their own!
Not really doing anything with a cause in the day, would have much rather arranged something and gone somewhere to do stuff, but who knows, maybe you did that on friday and sunday and i just caught the wrong day!

I don't think I'll be attending again, it really isn't anything personal, it's just not my thing, I'd rather spend a saturday doing something else. Was really good to meet you all, and you all have some very nice cars, I was impressed by them!

Thanks for making me welcome, i stress that none of this is personal!

Cheers

Alan

P.S. All pics were resized and quality reduced, if you spot any you like I can send you the full size one!

Excellent pics there! Do you have one of the interior of the car with the silver dash surround as it actually looks pretty cool in the top photo there.
Certainly looks like you all had a great time

Think matt wound her up a bit though tbh, pulled right next to her, window down, leaned out and waved at her right in her face!

I have to agree with you here Alan on a couple of points.

I didn't enjoy driving on the potholed roads either, subjecting a brand new car to that sort of rough just isn't fun for me.

Both me and my mate were concerned at the high speed stuff on the gravel, it just didn't appeal to us, but as Alan says, each to their own!

Apart from that the day was enjoyable, brilliant scenery and good company, and I really enjoyed the drive out

I want to thank all of the members who were there with us on saturday. You were all very friendly and easy to get along with, you made me and Alan feel welcome and we had a few good laughs. I know Al was a little disappointed but i think if i was a passenger i would have got bored, perhaps he would have enjoyed himself more if he was driving. Maybe next time we could plan something like bowling or go-karting to break the day up a little, something the young ones would enjoy as much as the 'big kids'! lol. Overall i enjoyed the day and was pleased to meet a great bunch of people.
Cheers, Joe.
