Finally it was FITP after the long and very cold winter. I think we all were looking forwards to this, right back from December. I know I was.
At 5:15am me and Sarah woke up by our phones alarms and then the dogs howling. They know when the alarms they are allowed out to the toilet. After a brief stint of the pillow over my head I then got up and promptly dragged Sarah up also.
We got dressed and threw everything into her Zetec S. We then went to pick up the

. Moved everything between cars and then headed off to meet Chris, Kev and Ben at the travel lodge.
Shortly after arriving we headed off to Coleshill. We arrived at around 6:20am with Lozzy, DIOPEO, Lee and another car (someone can fill me in). Upon arrival Sarah's antibiotics had kicked in and she was white as a sheet saying she was feeling sick. I then shot out the car and shouted around for someone with any crisps and drink. Swiftly Sarah was supplied with some crisps from Chris and a drink from Kevin. Few... sick in the

was not what I wanted before a show.
We stopped there for about 20-25mins and then decided to head off down the M6 > A14 to the usual stop of MacDonald's.

Alright guys... just take my keys...

Dals friends Mk2

What a sight... had to laugh at all the nosey locals pulling there face. They must have thought, what the heck was going on. If you look carefully you can see Kev shouting someones name... guess who?

As soon as we get there... Kenny pulls out lots of parts.

I counted 32 cars on this picture... Including Micky (who didn't bring his car into the field) it would have been 33 in total. Fantastic turn out.

Spot Kenny with a box of more goodies...

Cheers Dan

I'm not getting this speaker setup... my question to this... why?

One of these will be added to the collection before too long.

A lot of work has gone into this car... I know I wouldn't be able to keep it that clean.

Nice... but body work is far too wide.

I like the wheels on this Puma Speed

but the tyres are much too thin.

Clearly someone didn't think much of this Mondeo... I wonder if it is still there...

Who can argue with this?

I want those seats... Brilliant!!!

Kenny's car... it just gets better and better. I'd hate to know how much money has gone into it.

The Gazebo... thank god we put it up... it kept us all out of the cold breeze.

Oh wait... It's Kenny with a box of more

bits

After all was packed up and my face was burning we decided to go to the pub. After convoying pretty slowly the front runners decided to put their foot down. On a normal day i'd be right up with them but with a seriously warped disc and my steering wheel shaking all over the place I had to hold back... much to Duncan's disgust. I promise to give you a run for your money at Ford Fair

I have to admit. The favourite car of the show for me was Duff's.

We arrived at the pub minus Chris. After giving him the wrong post code

and a bit of time later. He finally arrived. With all of us there we had a nice meal. A brilliant end to a fantastic day.
Thanks to everyone who came along and bought the food and drink along. A fantastic touch. We should do this again for Ford Fair.
A special shout out for the guys who travelled from over seas to the show... that really does deserve true respect. Thanks guys

I'm looking forwards to seeing you all again. I'll make sure sarah brings her own car next time
