heya guys
just a quick message to say i will be joining you guys in the world of ST modding
have kept same car from the day i passed til now!!
mega saving has been in order but now new car (fiesta ST) is in order
hopefully guna be getting a 57 plate one so facelift version =]

first question (of many to come im sure) is that it has a 6600 cdc cd player im presuming this is the cd changer version if so where is the changer....
second of all if i replace the existing headunit for an aftermarket one wil i stil b able 2 use the cd changer?

it has a built in 5 changer, you just feed 5 into it, shouldn't use recorded discs though, only originals.
You can replace it with the later Sony model, not sure if that is multi disc ?
Anyway standard one is very good and doesn't attract unwanted attention.

oh ok =] im just thinkin of putting my alpine headunit into it as it has usb and ipod connection in the rear

The later Sony model does not have a changer but can read mp3 cds

The 6006 in fact can take 6 cds not 5.

Brabbit79: Done my 1st track day today in my 2006 St150, ii was topping oil up 500ml ever 10 laps give and take. No leaks or blue smoke. Anyone else had this.

_Jimmy_: @Brabbit79 it's probably oil passing the piston rings at high revs, used to happen with mine too but normal driving it wouldn't use much oil at all
