Fancy some new tyres in new year, had the Uniroyal Rainsport 2 for 5 years on front, been good quite happy with them, might go for Michelin Pilot Sport 3.

Got EAGLE F1 ASYMMETRIC 3 on rear, only been on a year or so however when I went to ATS not long ago just to check if I had a leak they said the AS3 were cracking between the treads ! After a year, not sure pulling my leg, tyres don't wear on the back of the ST like the fronts, I do know though that these are soft and wear rate is not good.

yes they are up there in the the tyre reviews, good wear rate and good grip dry and wet. Mine will be from my local ATS £113 fitted, not far from me and I can book a day to suit online.

Ahh sounds like a good price to me when you consider £95 plus postage then paying for fitting actually. I've heard they are brilliant in the wet and being near dartmoor that is exactly what I need from my tyres

yep think I will get those after xmas, I only ever use Michelin on the cycle nothwistanding a huge brand choice for cycling tyres. Pirelli being a historic car tyre maker are now producing tyres for cycles, decent review as well.

I also think the ps3 are nice tyres. have had them from some years now.
This spring I will try the Toyo Proxes t1r. Got a pay for 3 get 4 deal at Demon Tweeks. Only cost 50£ per tyre approx. hopefully they are good.

T1R are alright, in the wet they aren't as good as PS3s of course but in dry conditions they are decent enough.

The Toyo are good and long lasting really harder rubber than most others, if you don't mind poor grip off the line when damp, just need little less psi in them on front. Probably a great rear tyre to have and have a softer brand one on front.

Will be exciting to see then. Some of the tyres that is cheaper in Norway like the Nexen Ns2 is more expensive in UK but Toyo T1r is very cheap in the UK compared to Norway so I guess different tyres have different marketing in different countries.
