whats everyone clocking on there 0-60 times on the fiesta ST MK7???
i can only get 7.5 seconds with a induction kit, milltek cat back exhaust and a remap and its running at 223.6BHP and 237.1 Lb'ft
I'm using a GPS app on my phone to clock the time are these accurate?

I would think the gps app would give an indication but I cant see it being super precise.

I would imagine take it to somewhere that has the required timing equipment. I guess using the app could be a good base for seeing differences before and after modifying your car. Having said that, I've never personally used these apps before or seen a comparison between them and proper equipment so my doubt in their accuracy is only based off personal opinion, they may be far more accurate than I expect.

York Raceway dragstrip apparently has 0-60 timing in one of the lanes

Ford Fair and Trax used to do 0-60 time checks but don't any longer which is a shame.

You can get figures from drag strips if you do some runs.

Where have you had this tested Ford4Ever?

In response. I've not put my Mk7 Mountune down any strips but my 1.8 Focus I did.

Ford Quoted a 10.5 0-60 time. I managed a 9.5 using professional laser timing equipment (at silverstone). I also got the same time at Santa Pod when doing 1/4 mile runs.

The times can be out a bit by ford for insurance reasons. Usually you tend to get better than the time stated but you really need to practice the launch, have good dry conditions and be able to throw the gear very quick. Even the slightest slowness will knock 0.2+ off your time between gear changes.

I've seen standard Mk1 rs do 0-60 in 5.8 when ford stated 6.4.

Found a video for you of a 0-155 test setting off at 4500 rpm... but bear in mind that was on a rolling road rather than on track:

Around 4,000RPM down Santa Pod seemed to be the best when I did it. Limited tyre slip vs Max Power to get going.
