I'm not even sure the is supposed to have a toe hitch on it... i'm sure it says somewhere its not supposed to.

Saying that I have seen a photo one one toeing a small trailer.

Fiesta Van... have you just tinted the back windows? or are they Zetec S?

Good Luck with trashing a few s

there is no specified tow weight for an ST has the manufacture does not specified it to tow, lesser Fiesta do have a weight etc but as its not speced it's possibl not legal to fit one but guess you would have to check that with VOSA and probaly the insurance too

As Scott says, there have been towbars fitted to ST's before, and I have seen that picture of one pulling a trailer. However, the ST isn't designed to. From what I've read, the problem is that the bumper is too low and because it's been lowered with stiff suspension, then if you pull a caravan or a trailer then this makes the back end go too low (it could pull up the front) and it's considered dangerous.

In the Fiesta manual it lists the tow weight of an ST as not applicable, and this is because Ford wouldn't supply or fit one, although of course you would be able to get a custom made one. If anything went wrong however, then the warranty, if you still had one, would be invalid.

Well its not actually a ST... Its a Sport Van, so the back pannels are white fiberglass.....

So a tow bar will fit.. But i wanted to know if a tow bar would fit a ST without cutting the bumper.... Looks like ive got to get a van tow bar, and then cut the frikking bumper.. Savage..

If it's not an ST, just an ST style bumper then it should be fine. The Zetec-S had the same bumper as the ST, and IIRC it's in the manual that Ford approve tow bars for that.
