Ive had my ST about 6 months and I ave found that the passenger side back tyre is wearing on the outside, its almost bald where the rest of tyre is ok.

The man at the tyre place said that these cars cannot be 4 wheel aligned and said there must be problem wit hub or sumthing on this wheel?

Has any1 else had this prob or do you have any clues as to wot mite fix it?

Not making accusations but could it be down to driving fast around roundabouts? The car will lean onto that side of the tyre.

They can be checked for alignment, but can't be adjusted ar the rear without some serious bending.

It's possible the rear beam has been bent, a check will highlight this, or it could just be these roundabouts

Has the car had any spacers added to the rear Axle?...

If so maybe some bolts need tightening...

There is no problem.

It is becuase the ST has a fixed geometry at the rear and does not run much if any negative camber.

Therefore the tyres wear more on the outside..

Also as you go around more right hand bends, roundabouts being an example this tyre wears more.

End of story, put your hand in your pocket and buy some new tyres..

After you've made sure you haven't got a wheel bearing gone and that the geometry is correct.

You cannot adjust the rear but you can still have a four wheel alignment check to see if it's out. As said, it may have had a rear-ender or been kerbed.

Also the goeometry was changed from +2mm to -2mm from pre-facelift to facelift, make sure you're not set up wrong
