Back on topic i see what you are saying about the moutune tuning package. I think the biggest problem is that while montune have been around for years ( longer than i have been alive) they are only just starting to become noticed for there work with the st range. People don't see them as an established company and want to go with other well know companys like pumaspeed etc. The st has always been difficult to get extra bhp out of and it is going to be expensive.

The montune package is cheap for what it is and would be the one i went for if i had an st.

While a test would be good to see how different the various packages are you will never get an exact comparison. To do that you would need to get a standard st and do a power run. Then install the first kit and test it. Then take it all off again and put the second kit on and do a test. Every st is slightly different so having 2 different cars with the kits on is kinda pointless. It needs to be done on the same car and back to back tested.

The only reason i came on this site was becuase i was asked too by another member as people wanted to know about the mountune kit. Since i have been on here its been nothing but a battle as people cant seem to grasp what the kits are about and just look at the power figures. what about how it drives, sounds better MPG etc and you actually get the power you have paid for.

and as quickly as i have come on here ill be off again.
