It's awful that they are not doing anything about the bridges that have been destroyed due to the weather conditions. That is hardly anyones fault... probably the governments fault for not assessing the land mass geographically enough and realising the aging stone bridges would not stand up to the power of flooding on the valleys. They should drill into the ground and build solid and higher bridges that will support more traffic and ever changing weather conditions... you should argue... why wasn't this done before it happened? A statue or stylish event costing millions can be done without any problems but critical infastructure will not be replaced... hmm
