Grrrr the bloody penalty system is getting on my tits.

I've been trying to learn Sepang and there's a couple of corners I keep getting wrong but it invalidates my NEXT lap. WTF is that about. Sliding head long in to the gravel is hardly giving me an advantage. I don't mind scrubbing my current lap but why the next one as well?
