Quote: my issue is Scotty, i wanna insure my car every so often.... to drive it on the road it cant be sorn, that means i have to tax it... i cant tax it for less than 6 months so that means i cant temp insure my car as if its not insured and is taxed im breaking the law
gonna mean i have to insure it for 6 months minimum, if thats the case i may aswell have it taxed and insured all the time makes no difference
This is incorrect as you can tax for 1 month period if you so wish. You would need to take 6 months tax out and then if you then wanted to take it off the road after 2 months. You would send your tax disc off to the DVLA and they would refund you the difference.
Ok... I still don't see the big problem. So... if you can insure for 1 day, 1 week, 1 month or 1 year... and tax for 1 month. What is the issue still?
