Had a go with a rotor the other day. The painter for my car picked up a mk1 mx5 for sod all and was going to respray it, before that i asked if i could just do some general practice with my G220 to better my skills. The car had been sat for 2 years and the paint was faded on some parts ( it was red, shock! ) so he let me have a go on a wing and a bonnet. Looking at how cautious i was, asked how long it took me to fully go over and do swirl removal.
Generally for me its anywhere between an hour to and hour and a half on the fiesta, he proceded to go and get his rotor and said, " blast the bonnet in half the time " the paints years old and has no clearcoat, you should have seen how red the pads were! although it was okay i'd say i still need more practice with one. So going to buy a bonnet from the scrappy and buy a £40 rotor of ebay and give it a shot and see how we go.

Then i need to do a full correction on my dads L200.... await photos
