I feel very much like you on modern cars babyboom. Like in all businesses everything now has become a race for economy down to the last penny and I think you're right in saying that this alone has contributed to narrowing down very much the variety of cars available to us.

Kevin I vividly remember asking you the rain question... A shower that would continue through the rest of the afternoon... I'll know better next time and will bring warm and dry clothes (2 or 3 spare changes) and an umbrella, be it July, August or any other month of the year... it's still England! But every trip to your wonderful country teaches me something else. On my 05 summer trip I learned that white lines on the floor designate a residents parking area in London as opposed to a free parking area in Switzerland

...but I guess it makes a great souvenir photo...

And also, i would like to say, from myself and my family; what a very friendly, knowledgeable and considerate person he is .

Aww.. thanks Kevin that's really nice. I have only one regret from last summer's meet and that's not to have been able to say good-bye to you all after the second shower split us up and before we all headed back to our cars. It was really nice however to meet you as well as Julie and Sarah and the rest of the gang. I will forever remember us standing under some bushes helplessly waiting for the rain to stop and you poiting out to Sarah that she was getting wet while standing in the rain, to which her reply was simply to make us notice that despite standing below some trees we were by this time completely drenched too and therefore it was making no difference.

I do hope that I'll make another summer trip to the UK this year. I'd like to try something different, maybe RS Owners club or Ford Fair or maybe just rally day again, it was a good outing. And who knows, maybe if the summer event takes place in France there'll be two opportunities to meet up.
