Hi Guys and Gals

I posted a message on here not so long ago about fuel consumption. Well mine has certainly improved...........today on the way home from work it told me i was achieving 99.9mpg..........and then as i was going down a local by-pass, the computer read 78mpg. I think the computer may be lying slightly Has anyone else had any trouble with the computer readings? All the other readings are okay (average speed, miles till empty etc...) I'm sure my ST has a mind of its own

Cheers, please let me know
Sam

Wow thats excellent! What am I doing wrong to get much much much less than that?!

Seriously though, has it gone back to normal now? If not probably get it checked out. I don't know anyone whos had that happen before, but I've known someone had it the other way, where they had X miles to empty, put some petrol in and it still said the same miles left after!

On my Fezz, the fuel gauge just shuts down,,,showing distance till empty as --/--, and the warning light comes on. After driving for a while, it "starts up" again. So yes, the comps on these cars are a bit suspect. The Ford dealers just reply.."Hmmm thats weird"...@ssholes
