Just signed up, currently have a clio billabong but have decided to get a Fiesta ST

was stuck between a streetka ST or 182

looking to find a white ST as close to 8k as possible

Anything special to look out for, common issues etc?

If you browse through the forum you will see some issues which occur, but I don't think there are any major well known ones for the ST, seem to be minor rattles and things which a lot have but that's just a characteristic of the car to most of us now, I think!

Get your search going and get a bargain

Sorry to ask here, I didn't find anything using the Search function.

Any specific problems with the power steering pump? Some people in my country have had some issues...they say the steering is sometimes very loud, especially after driving the car hard for a couple of minutes.

Anything to worry about? My ST is still on order, and while waiting..every little problem like this gets me concerned.

Haven't heard loud steering...? But if you drive it hard from cold it does make a whirring noise, but I assum this is to do with the drive system and not steering.

Thanks, I hope there won't be any problems with mine. It's just weird, I haven't seen anything about this here or on other Ford forums, but in my local Ford community forum there are 3 Fiesta ST owners who have this problem.
