Who cares, use the dirt to your advantage... I see loads and loads of cleaned and polished car photos on this site but the most interesting ones are those that are natural and use the landscape or surroundings and the car in it's natural state...

There was a few pics in black and white of the ST in the snow... these are really nice pics imo... but any thing would be good to see how that sort of setting can or could be used.

Obviously shiny does look nice, but I know what you mean about it sometimes being more interesting having pictures in the dirt. This I think is one of my favourite shots I've taken of mine and it's anything but clean:

That was how we had it a few years back!!

Lets hope do a U-turn and bring the out in 4x4 Chris... you'd have no problem then... I don't think 300bhp is going to be much use otherwise in conditions like that!

Just to show what sort of things you could do...

This is Chris's car simply parked in a field with a light on it

This is my car in the fog with it's hazard lights and fogs on

Just to show it can even be done on your driveway with a bit of an arty shot.

Lol, I'm not sure even a 4x4 would get you through that! That amount of snow was crazy, especially the way it seemed to come along all of a sudden as well. It was snowing lightly on and off all morning and then just went BANG and put down a foot and a half of snow in about an hour. I was still at school at the time and it was quite good since I got nearly a week off because of that.

People I work with have told me tales about what happenned there. Some had no choice but to literally live there for a couple of days as they couldn't get home. Someone else who had a 4x4 did manage to give a few people a lift as far as Whitehaven, 10 miles away, which was where it was worst and then had to give up as they couldn't get any further - and even that had took him 8/9 hours to do! Crazy.

Wow, was a long time ago now - even though it doesn't seem like it. For those who won't know, that was taken at this site's very first ever event back in 2005. You can see all the water on the side of my car, and it was pouring down that day at a campsite in the middle of the Cotswolds. A brilliant time though.

Lol... bit like me getting stuck at work in Stratford-upon-avon due to the flooding... people just left there cars in the road and walked... was like a movie where everyone gets whiped off the planet... just car's parked up on the main roads and on roundabouts etc...

I didn't mind... had the fridge full

In answer to your question, in the first picture the car was a Mondeo, and in the second picture a Hyundai Accent.
