Picked up my new ST tonight and iv been smiling like a Cheshire cat since the second I put my foot on the accelerator

First impressions are great, you can tell it’s got some power under the hood and it takes off in 1st, 2nd & 3rd.
What impresses me allot is it’s so stable off the mark, allot of other cars seem to bounce trying to get grip if you flat line it.

The clutch needs to light footwork to get the best from it, I aint stalled it yet but been close a few times.

It’s also rather bumpy but that’s to be expected from lower sports suspension.

Already had people checking it out when I’m driving past them; however iv also had some knackers in a Meganne up my arse wanting to race.

To think i nearly purchased a c2 vts over the ST, i drove my mate VTS and while i was impressed with it, the fiesta pee's all over it from a great height in many aspects.

All in all a great car and fun to drive

its good to learn you are enjoying the experience and yes you are bound to get the ones that pull along side and want to race you,a lot of the time i switch off and resist the temptation but now and again i get a heavy feeling in my right foot and lose them in my rear view mirror.
