hello all i have been following this forum for a while now and looks really good, keep it up!

i have a few questions following my crash/bump on thursday in my fiesta lx,
how easy is the passenger wing to remove and replace?
also the same with the front bumper, i have gone for a different bumper as mine was the old black plastic two peice set. Always like the colour coded bumper idear, but will it fit? its a mk-6 bumper and my car is a mk-6 04 reg?

also aquarius blue paint where can i get some?

cheers all

Ben

BTW i love the but being 19 it would be a pain to insure but one day i will own one

Hi Ben and welcome to the site

The wings on a MK6 are bolt on mate so you will be able to change it quite easily.

The bumper is a clip on design but there are three Torx screws in front of each front wheel in the wheel arches that secure the wheel arch liners to the front bumper.
Remove these screws first, pop the bonnet and remove the grille then un clip the bumper at the top and the bottom and it will come off.
Remember to disconnect the fog lamps first (if fitted)

Any bumper from a 2002 on Fiesta will fit.

You can get spray paint from any major car paint dealer.

Just take my advice first before you do a DIY job -

Take the car to a bodyshop for a free quote on the repair to make sure that you have not damaged the chassis rails in the car.
A minor knock on the wing and bumper can still start the deforming process of the crash tubes on the chassis rails at the front of the car.
The crash tubes are also bolt on and easy to change once you have the bumper off.

Good luck

That's not too bad at all (considering)

From the angle of impact, I'd say there's no damage underneath so just carry on with the repairs.

To save money get the new bumper and wing sprayed before you fit them.

Just have a good look underneath once you've got the bumper off to make sure everything is OK.

Good luck
