just put deposit on fiesta st, and remembered hearing very slight ticking noise under bonnet, possibly light tappet noise or just a belt noise? it is a 2006 with 8k miles, lady owner, genuine car so doubt its been thrashed, any ideas? obviously its still under warranty anyway.

best policy really is if you have any concerns just take it in cos you got the warranty.

It may just be the injectors opening and closing, they are quite noisey.
Get it checked though if your not happy
