The car is listed as having ESP in the advert but its not fitted. Oh well, doesn't bother me.
Hi tony welcome to the site! Hope you get your ST this weekend
Whilst it doesn't bother you, not having ESP, they have advertised it with it, so I would enquire with them why it isn't on there and negotiate a bit of discount. If they won't budge, see their manager, they will do you some sort of deal or they risk losing the sale! It is a £350 option so I strongly suggest you get some compensation for it! Good luck!
yes agree there! should get discount or gift as its advertise with it!
Yes, JJ is correct in stating that you should enquire why it does not have the ESP fitted. If it is advertised as a feature of sale and it is not fitted to the vehicle, then it is a trade descriptiopn offence and is worth trying to haggle a discount.
If the deal has been negotaited, you could try getting some freebies such as mats, stripes etc. Nothing tried, nothing gained,
I picked up my ST today and drove the 35 miles home. I'm very dissapointed but oly because the drive wasn't long enough, never mind I'll be out in it tonight.
Anyway here are a few pics, I'll get some better ones tomorrow.
No extras or discounts as I got it at a very good price already and was from a private sale not a dealers. I got it for the sort of money people are asking for pre-facelift ST's (under £7.5k)
Thanks for the comments on the pics, I'll try to get some better ones as soon as I can as I'm only just learing to use my camera for shots in the dark.
Having owned my ST less then 48 hours I love it so far, I can't see me getting bored of it in the near future. Great fun to drive on the country lanes, not as good cornering as my MGF (but the ST is a hot hatch not a 2 seater sports car) the engine seems to pull down the straights far better, hopefully without the unreliability of the MGF. Round town and on motorways the ST is FAR FAR better.
