What size are they on the standard ST alloys and how much do you guys pay to replace one of them?

They're R17 205/40, and from what I've heard they're likely to be around about £100 each to replace.

205/40/17 Pirelli P-Zero Neros. £89.30 each delivered from www.mytyres.co.uk. Probably double that if you just walk straight into Kwik Fit and get one...

Can you get a "Budget" type tyre for these wheels?

I know its not the same, but lets say if times are hard for that month when they need replacing?

You could do but beware if they have the wrong rating and you have an accident, "insurance invalid"!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agreed, leave the budget tyres well alone, the handling won't be the same and you'll only have to replace it again that much sooner as cheap tyres don't last very long. If you shop around then you'll find that you can pick up another one of the Pirellis fairly cheaply, it is a big tyre at the end of the day, so it will cost a few quid. Try somewhere like www.mytyres.co.uk or www.blackcircles.com for options.

Apparently the version of the P-Zero which we've got was actually "developed" for the ST, although how much of that is true I'm not sure.

The ST was developed on The P-Zero Nero, but the tyre certainly wasn't developed for the ST.

Can someone please remind me of the Tyre pressure that needs to go in front and back, I cant find the post with it in previously, was it 31 front 29 back??

It should say on the sticker on the B-pillar inside the door, but I've got mine on 32psi all round with no problems.

32 at the front and 29 at the rear
