that would be torque steer pulling you to the side under acceleration. mines a bastard when its dry on good tarmac or if it hits a rut in the road.
the rattle is annoying! im pretty sure its my parcel shelf.

I though about having the tracing align but if they all do it a waste of £50

Welcome to the site, and welcome to the characteristics of the , .

Depending on the camber of the road, yes, you can find yourself fighting with the steering wheel .

use to have it on my ST as well but on my GTI is so much worse than on the ST when the turbo quick in the car does go everywhere in first or second gear doesn't make much different but on the ST I did have ESP so it wasn't too bad compared to my GTI which the ESP doesn't want to do anything in that situation

Local garages! Most I ever paid was £20 at ATS. I am getting the ST tracking done in the new year for free when I buy two new tyres!

Definately get your tracking done, and if you have some spare cash get a laser wheel alignment done. Personally its a common problem with most cars as not every road is flat and so your car will most of the time want to go one way or another especially the bigger roads. If your seriously having problems controlling your car above a certain speed then something might be wrong but 9/10 it's either your tracking or tyre pressures. Both play a massive part in keeping your car on the road
