Does any one have any idea as to the price of the new Focus,my local Ford is expecting some next month but they have no idea of the price (or they don,t want to say).Any one seen any reviews?Could be tempted on this .
I heard £21,000 - I remember cos I remember thinkin it was more than the orig RS. In my experience, the FORD Dealerships are the last to know anything...
sub 20k will be really good (bit out of my price range but..) - if u compare power etc etc with other things like scooby etc - although the megane 225 has about the same power and is <20 - not as nice to look at though i expect

It's priced to compete with the Astra VXR and undercut the Golf GTI. Apparantly, the first batch will be limited editions in Bright Orange!!! Can't wait for this car!!!

Yeah, I must admit that the Astra VXR is a good looking car and has 240bhp compared to 220 for the Focus. The ST will handle better and sound better (being a 5 cylinder) and should be better to drive in the real-world as it'll have more torque.
I've seen the Recaro's you mean but they're not making the production version of the VXR. It has road Recaro's as standard, as does the ST, which will be two-tone trimmed in Leather and a new 'Sports cloth'. Ooooooh!!!
Really? From what I'd read in mags and stuff I thought it was gonna be sub-£20k. Its a shame as I think the Focus ST could be pretty cool, but there's no way I'd pay more for a Focus than I would a Golf GTi...
