I have just punched a wall because i have kerbed my alloy big time, and i need a new one (i feel sick). Refurbs i know cost around 50-65 quid...but i havnt got the time to wait for this to be done as i use the car everyday for work. Anyone know the cost of a new alloy? and where i can get one for a decent price?

Ebay is one place... but you don't know if the alloy has been in an accident or slightly bent until you get it...

Scrap Yards are another place.

Ford Specialist Internet sites are also a good place to look for a new one.

Finally... from it will set you back around £125

A new ST alloy will set you back just under £136

http://www.fordpartsuk.com/shop/products.php?id=82

I'd stick the space saver on and go for the refurb at that price!

Hi Pete, yeah its pretty bad, got a quote for new allow plus fitting at £180 which is way too much because I wanted to get it done quickly. Thanks for the offer buddy but I live in Wallington south London quite far away, going to get the fefurb but going to do it when im on holiday so i wont need the car! Going to have to live with it until then lol which i hate! had a string of bad luck with my car recently, last month someone have damaged the whole side of it whilst parked which cost me just under a grand in total. Didn’t know who hit it either so insurance couldn’t cover....bleak times for my ST at the moment.

Unfortunatley it happens to us all... My old focus had the same done to it with someone reversing into the front wing, creasing it and pushing it into the door... was very annoying and was expensive to fix...

I wouldn't let the kerbing bother you... it happens to us all im afraid... it might be worth just leaving them on and investing in a pair of alloys from a scrap yard for replacements if you want to drive to shows and stuff... that way you don't have to worry about kerbing the onces you have.

Pinky, that price is excluding VAT. I was quoted £155 about a year ago.

£160 inc vat for the alloy From Dee's of Croydon mate. Prob better taking it down to Kwik fit on the Brighton road to get it fitted ....will be cheaper

Or Try Chips Away they can come to you to recondition it.Not sure of their telephone number.

Or call pease pottage scrap yard and see if they have one... should be uber cheap.
