in a morning i get white smoke, maybe because its cold !!! but occasionly if i stop off somewere, the car does'nt always want to turnover 1st time seems to get a bit bogged down, and now and again i get a smell of fuel not major but i can defianately smell it only 19000 miles strange maybe nothing ....hows yours?

when i fill up full i then seem to get a petrol smell for about half and hour , dont have any problems with it turning over though

yeah i get a similar thing happen to me, somethings when i turn the engine off then restart the car doesn't always start first time, if annoying really considering the car has only done 15000miles. could this be due to spark plugs n leeds, maybe i need new ones?

Mine was doing this. Took it to Ford a couple of weeks ago and they updated the PCM and it's sorted now. Not had any problems since.

It's the Powertrain Control Module, or to put it another way it's the engines ECU.

ok, thanks. So i suppose i should take it the my ford dealer for them to sort it out, is this covered on the warranty? (my car is an 06 plate, with 15000 on the clock)

Yep I had it done under warranty. I don't know how long it takes them to do it but they had my car from 8:30am to 4:45pm, which seems waaayy too long to me lol.
