Hi all,

I will be taking the plunge soon as I have ordered (finalise the options tomorrow) my Fiesta ST.
It is in White and my options are as follows -

Full stripe pack
ESP / Reflex pack
Interior styling pack
Sony Audio
Technology pack
Privacy glass

I am looking forward to the car being delivered and wondered if any of you could let me have some advice on my spec if you have these fitted to yours.

Many thanks, hope I've made a good choice.

Hi welcome to the site! It all sounds good, I only went for the option of privacy glass.

I don't think ESP is a necessity - any lack of grip can be put down to the standard tyres - great in the dry warm weather, not so good in the wet/cold. The car handles a lot better once you have some decent tyres on it!

Cheers.
I think it has Pirelli P Zero fitted from the factory. Never used them before, any good ?

They're the standard ones, as Babyboom says, they are rubbish in the wet.
I still have them on the back, but my Avon ZZ3s on the front make the world of difference

As a matter of interest Babyboom, how does your Polo compare with the ST ?

wear your front tyres out and then get some decent ones, though we are coming into warmer weather - I think?? - so you should be enjoying the grip when it's warm and dry, take it easy in the wet until you're used to it!

the polo is faster in straight line than the ST and also more comfy and quiter on motorway compared to the ST. the fuel comsuption is also better on the polo, as for handling and fun the ST is much better and also cheaper to buy and not less equip. basically the polo is more grown up and boring car compared to the ST
