Best product for removing scratches?

I was gutted last night. I'd finished cleaning the ST when I noticed two long scratches going down the length of the driver's door. I don't know when it happened, but I'd obviously only noticed it because the car was clean.
Fortunately, neither are deep. They look more like scuff marks, or light-contact scratches.
I've got a bottle of Meguiars Scratch X which I have used on smaller swirls and paint defects, but I'm yet to try it on the door. Before I do apply it, has anyone got any suggestions to a really good scratch removing product?

I have used T-cut in the past and to be honest, it is pretty good. Just use a small amount and rub over the scratch and it helps to mask it. I don't think it works too well on deep scratches but have been happy with the results in the past on lighter ones ....

If the scratch is not too deep then T Cut is best followed by wax polish of course.
But if you can feel the scratch with your finger nail then it is too deep to completely polish out, using T Cut on it will take of the sharp edges of the scratch but will only disguise it slightly.
The best remedy if the scratch is deep is to carefully brush paint over it with matching touch-up paint, so that the paint stands slightly proud. Then after around two hours ie before the paint hardens too much, polish with T Cut until all the surplus paint has been removed leaving paint in the scratch only.
I have had great success with this on shortish scratches and stone chips, but to be honest not done it on a long scratch.
