Im looking to get my ST lowerd, 35 mm seems nice, but 45 is just that lil bit better. would 45mm drop be too much just for springs? or will it be fine?

Help would be appreciated

For around 35mm I'd say go for the Eibach springs. If you really want 45mm then there are the Spax springs.

Hi Jayy, I have got the Eibach fitted with a drop of 35mm. Wheels sit just at the arch couldnt ask for anything better. They have been on the car since new so just over a year and a half I think and no problems whats so ever. Car is still really comfortable to drive with only problem is holes in the road you can get quite a thump but to be expected. I have had all my previous cars lowered but got to say these are the best so far. Dont go for anything lower than 35mm could be getting yourself into a lot of problems and start to hate driving the car.

B.

I don't think i'll be lowering my ST.
I do agree that it looks better than standard but I found that on my previous car (VRS) it was hard and although it wasn't too bad at first, it slowly annoyed me and the car was certainly noisier especially on the Motorway.
It would be interesting to hear from anyone who has switched to Eibachs and hear what they think of the ride difference, not just the 'look'.

To be honest, the standard ST 'feels' like it's got Eibachs on already.

Thought it was a bit pricey too, hence making sure you got discount but £100 sounds better!
