Hey guys,

Please excuse how s**t I am with handy work, but could anyone briefly explain to me how to get the plastic bit off the main interior light so I can change the bulb? I just can't get the thing off!

Cheers

Rob

There's a little cut out on the lens pointing towards the windscreen. Stick a flat blade screwdriver in the slot and prize it out.

Yes, it's only the lens that you need to take out to change it. Don't do what I first did and try to prise the whole unit out, as you'll end up knocking the wires out of the connections.

Well I did manage to do it. However, my idea was stick a bright red LED bulb in, so my whole red and black theme would be even more interesting. However, it turns out my "bright" LED bulb couldn't light the inside of a shoe let alone a car. Its appauling! Ah well was only an idea

You can get them here:

I don't know if you can get the little map lights also, but personally I've left them with white light. The centre ones just for show, and I use the little ones if I actually need to look for something lol.

No offence to Torquesteer they are really good, but do no buy the red LED bulb, because thats the exact one I got and it was shocking haha. Anyone got any ideas where I can get one as bright as the blue one Chris has, in red?

I wouldn't put a coloured LED in the top one because if you try and read a map in the dark, you've got no chance
