As seen on torquesteer website...has anybody purchased this piece of equipment?

If so is it easy to fit and does it look alright?

The vewwy first mod I did alllllllllll by myself!

Its DEAD easy and takes 2 mins to do (really) Just undo the black screw in the pic, not even all the way out (keep unscrewing it & gently pulling at the lock bit til it comes off) pop the delock on and tighten

However just bear this in mind, I asked this question while back and here it is copy/pasted for info:-

Q - if I do this and ever have to enter car v the boot then can I open the doors manually from the inside even if the double-locking is activated - thought that was its purpose ?

A - No you can not open the doors from inside if your bat goes and you have the delock you have to get in via the boot and pop the bonnet then apply jump leads or a jump box.

If its cos the remotes broken or lost you are a bit stuffed guess you would have to break the delock off.

When i got my it only had the 1 remote and 1 regualr key so i bought a 2nd remote of Ebay and was easy to program so I have a spare.

Can you simply buy a spare key fob off ebay or somewhere and programme it? When i had my focus i was told you needed at least two key fobs to programme one yourself?

I'm not sure, I ordered a spare when I bought the car as cheaper to do then that order from Ford afterwards. Do a search on the forum for the original post, thats where the above is from, search for delock or bezel and you will find the original posts on this topic and see if there was an answer to the programming or ask the original poster or just post new on here and somebody will have the answer.

You can't programme a new key on the ST like you could older Fords.
It has to be done using IDS - Dealer Job I'm afraid
