OK..... I said I never would, but I'm in the market for an induction kit to try to drown out the rasp of the ecotek valve

So far I'm undecided as to if the Green kit is worth £100 when you can get the K&N for £75. I'd rather stick to cotton filters, but is the pipercross unit any good?

I know a lot of people have fitted K&N's but is this cost relaeted or performace related? The green filter does look awesome with better quality finish.

Please let me know your thoughts.

went for the KN cos it seem like the best suited for the ST and also one of the cheapest as well. also because I mostly used kn product and was well happy with it but never try all the other so can't comment on them

Yeh I'd go for the K&N as well.

Would be interesting to see how the Green filter compares to the K&N as most ST owners seem to fit the K&N...

I've bought the Graham Goode CAIS. Yes, I know it's expensive, but it does exactly what I want. No hoses, fully enclosed filter and it is ... well.. Absolutely stunningly well made

Just need a car to put it on now

Well, she can't complain Mo, she paid £65 for a snail so it's swings and roundabouts.

Yes. Giant African landsnails are BIG & expensive for the right one. But, back on topic ....

Was going to go for the GG Filter but got the K&N and put the balance of the money towards some new alloys.

That makes sense. I want something different as well, the GG CAIS obviously works well and as I mentioned, looks fabulous.

£65 for a snail? How fast does it go?

I would be interested in the GG induction kit but I can't stand faux carbon / carbon effect stuff - I'd sooner have black plastic than black plastic with painted squares on it!

Can somebody get a clsoe up of the bit I'm talking about.....(induction kit, not snail) I'd like to see how easy it would be to take a splash mould and make a real carbon one
