Am loving my to bits even though i have an annoying squeek.

I put it in garage week ago and they found the squeek was the handbrake cable and they oiled/greased it, but it has decided to come back again today. Anyone else had this same problem?? I have a courtesy KA coming my way in a weeks time!!

I had that very same squeak. God it was so irritating.

Ford tried to charge £26 to solve it, but managed to blag it.

That was sorted 2 weeks ago and so far hasn't returned.

People have posted about the same problem before, so I would expect someone would know what we can do ourselves to grease the cables.

I have the squeak you mention but I can live with it... It's not as if I use the handbrake all the time as I'm driving along, only does the squeak once when I put the hand brake on or take it off...

squeak/annoying noise, unless coming from the passenger seat when the missus is sat there, somehow it disappears when she's not there, lmao

My squeek is constant whether the handbrake is on or off....i find it most irritating. And im sure people can hear it outside too!!!
