I think that there is something about 5 door Fiesta's... I think it's the mini sapphire cosworth look - I dunno.

Love the wheels, are they off the Zetec S?

The alloys are fox evo 3s 16inch

do you prefer the 3 or 5 door?

Imagine a 4x4 5 door fiesta, that's ruin a Porsche owners day. I think with those alloys it deserves to be a wolf in sheeps clothes.

Simon, that for me is a really difficult question. I think I prefer the overall look of the 3-door, but prefer the 5 doors practicality. In the 3 door the B pillar is horrifically big, also the big doors make it difficult to get out of in my parking space at work. The 5 door looks more cheeky and is much more practical if you have 3 or more passengers.

Tough choice.

One thing though, I am not a fan of big stickers on cars, less is more IMO. Sorry, but then that is only my opinion - if your happy that's all that counts!

I did a quick edit of your photos so I can see all of your car in one go.
I think it would benefit from being lowered about 10-15mm

I notice you say it's a durashift! What's that like? Are you please with that, and is it rewarding to drive with?

Durashift looks quite interesting. Would it be possible for them to do something similar with paddles (I'm thinking Focus Cossie!). By the way Hugh, I was looking for ages at those pics to try and figure out how you spotted it had Durashift!! Then I noticed that he'd actually written that he had it!!

I actually quite liked my 5dr Focus:

It's strange, but having the extra pair of doors tends to make the car feel a little more spacious inside. Ahhhh, my Focus 2.0 ESP was a luuuurvly car!

PMSL @ Durashift Dave.

I miss my ST170. That was a thirsty car though.

Thanks Hugh for your feedback m8.

The side stickers are really a 50/50 for me. I think they look good. When you park my car next to a standard ford fiesta the difference is great!

As for the Durashift. I think its fantastic! I never really was that good with manual transmission so i decided to choose the durashift version.

You can switch from manual to automatic at anytime while driving. Maunal mode is great for bendy country roads and such. You don’t loose any of the fun that you get from a manual.

Plus im like in zombie mode in the morning before work. The car does the gears for me lol im just lazy me thinks and there’s no clutch to crunch.

I was wondering if you could advice me on which lowering springs I should get and were. Would I need new shock absorbers?

Do you think it would mess up the durashift? As its all electronic and computerised like engine management and stuff.

I hope this makes sense. I’m sorry I know nothing about how cars work.

Cheers in advance m8.

Also the P1 or Eibach Springs are good id go for a 35 drop but 50 looks good.

i strongly advice EIBACH springs (if you can get them in the uk) with some good koni absorbers.

my fiesta is lowered by 5cm (only changed the springs, hard like a go-cart but really great in the corners)

Simon00 - nice ride!

Just wondering, how have you connected the footwell neons? If you hardwired them - did you find it easy?
