Come home this afternoon to see my white fiesta ST sitting on my drive with no blooody spoiler on it. Tottally gutted! How come they come off so easy would think ford would have a better fixing system than double sided tap. Im not a happy bunny!!!

gutted mate, same thing happened to me, seems to be a spate of it, so easy to pull off and a market ready to buy them. I have now 'alphadotted' mine, so hoepfully it will deter the to%%ers from trying it on with anything else. Also got cctv up now - shame it has to come to it.
Quote: But this wont effect the fitting if you bond it on and that way it will be more secure.
So the seller don't come and pinch it again
dodgey as isn't it. how they get away with it I dont know. Anyone buying to repace theirs, don't egt it off ebay, seems to fuel the crime!you can get them from fordpartsuk for a easonable price. I won't be replacing mine though, just too easy. I was thinking of maybe getting one and using a quick release of some sort to take it off... not sure I can be bothered though!

I have reported it. My dads a copper so he has a few connections but still i dont think i will have any luck of finding it. I live in the manchester area that spoiler forsale on ebay is from birmingham way so dont think that would be mine.
Really am gutted thou.
Few coppers live on my street aswell none of them seen anything and 1 of them was cutting his grass aswell and still bloody didnt see anything.
Ive got cctv but guess what the bloody camera failed and its not been recording.
Dont know weather to get another one but it looks shocking without it fitted.
Quote: does it look bad with out the spoiler JJST?
it looks...different! still got the boltssticking out and not bothered to remove the sticky stuff under it, so not too great, if it was clean and didn't have bolt holes it'd look ok, but it's just not right the ST needs it's spoiler!:(

yeah it is a bit risky, once it's gone you are aware of how easy it is to pull off. I read somewhere else that someone stuck it on with silkoflex or something which is really strong but they still nicked it and bent the tailgate!Unless you can keep an eye on it and mark it up with something like alphadot I wouldn't put one on cos it will probably go again
