woke up about 2am this morning looked out side my window and someone was trying to brake in to my car , i band on the window and they ran off (think he was only a kid) so i ran down stairs opend my front door had a look at my baby and there was a bit of metal broke inside my lock.so phoned the police and they said they cant do anythink. so ive been looking on the web for a decent alarm company and i found a company called precision alarms phoned them up and they was very helpful so my question is has anyone used this company before????? also found a company called toadalarms.co.uk but they was to dear

Little turd. Isn't it typical that the police can never be bothered to turn out when there's a 'theft from' or theft of a car, but if you've got an out-of-date tax disc or you drive over the speed limit suddenly they can spare half-a-dozen coppers and a paddy wagon?
I think I would have done more than bang on the window.... but then it would be me who got locked up. Might have been worth it, though.

He'd have a job getting in to a fiesta 's lock through trying to pick it... I don't know of anyone who has managed to do this tbh.

The only real way to steal the is...

Break the window and know what you are doing

Pick it up off the road

Or 90% of the time it's simply though stealing of the keys

Have you got a garage that you can put it away in?

precision alarms in essex have been mentioned a couple of times on STOC & I belive they are one of the few firms that have made after marked alarms do the double lock so you dont have to use both the Ford fob and then new alram fob as I do with my Clifford system

That seems a good price (not that I'm an expert), take it that's with Precision Alarms?

turn up to the scene of a crime and not sit on their arses catching speeding motorists.

To be fair i'm not really suprised the Police didn't turn up, there's not really anything they can do except take a crime report for the damage. And that can be done over the phone. I don't think they even turn up if your car gets nicked these days unless you've actually seen it happen!

Hmm I'm only down the road in Rainham, so it becomes more real for me! As has been said though, they can't actually be stolen through hot wiring so what was he doing. No valuables visible I take it though?

That happens to me though and I'm not banging on the window at him, I'm out the front door after him. Scumbag.
