There are lots of tilt alarms out there or alarms that have a tilt function included. Personally I think it's unecessary, if you're really worried about your alloys then I'd suggest 2 or 3 sets of locking wheel nuts, that'll stop the buggers!

untill they use a couple of these:

use a end of it and bash it over one of the locks with a hammer and they will come of without any problems. done it a 100 times and works every time

Anymore opinions then please?

Looks like the wheel locking nuts may be out of the question if what dirk says is true.

Does anyone actually have the tilt alarm installed? what do you think?

Cheers

The Socket method won't work on a decent set of locking nuts.

Not to my knowledge, Chris. Its a fairly rubbish alarm to be quite frank.

CharlieBoy - if you're seriously worried about the alloys then speak to a local audio/security firm, they can let you know whats what. I'm sure that a couple of sets of locking nuts will be sufficient to deter anyone but a professional thief, the ST alloys are nothing special anyway.

Its either that or move to a slightly less dubious area...
