Hi, does my 2006 facelift zectec have the looms/wires already in the door for electric mirrors? (mine are manual at the moment), and are there two types of electric mirrors, with power fold and without power fold?

yes there two type of electric mirror some are available with powerfold mirror but were at extra as for already be wired on a manual mirror I don't think so but I maybe wrong

The wiring may be there but the GEM won't support it.
You will need either a new GEM or the GEM flashing to tell it it has electric mirrors.

Any one know about the power fold mirrors
My sisters Fiesta Blue has power fold and they FOLD every time she locks the car
and unfolds when she unlocks it 4 month old
I have the Top dog Focus 58 reg has absoloutley every thing yet the power fold mirrors are on a push button

What I want is to convert mine to work with the locks

I wondered if there was a relay in the door lock circuit that powered the mirror

On mine it is a single button to fold and unfold So just a power pulse will do to operate the Mechanism

any one got a wiring diagram for the power fold circuit please

I'm under the impression that the Focus should fold on lock/unlock.

It may be a config issue.
Ask the dealer first but I think you will get a "no it doesn't" because that's the easiest answer, then ask to see an identical specced car and see if they fold on lock/unlock.
I know that power folds are an option on all Focus models so you will probs struggle to find one with it on.



The Fiesta Focus Mondeo S-Max etc all use the same GEM just with different software.

You could also ask Ford Technical Helpline 09065533447, careful though it's £1.50 per min. They will need the VIN
