...about my old st...when i traded it in i got 7300 and i knew the engine was bbuggered thats why i got rid of it quickly but someone from work knows a guy from the garage a traded it into and he was talking to her and said it cost the garage who eveentually got my car £1000 to get it fixed, lmao...unlucky!!

yeah the person did join the site, saw that a while back it was around xmas time...unlucky for him i think but it was well looked after, just not the engine lmao

How did you manage to wreck the engine anyway?

It's got a rev limiter etc etc.

Did you run it hot or low on oil or something or was it burnouts?

think it was that i ragged it everywhere lmao and i was doing 42 miles to work and back for 3 months

Whats the level of petrol to oil

I think Craig will have calmed down a lot... he was a fruit cake at times lol. I guess you drive slow when your son is in the car Craig?

OK but you still haven't answered really.

Are you sure the engine was shot, they are quite tough??

What were the symptoms, was the MIL on?

You may have just cooked the cat.

Yes the Wankel is a bit un-forgiving and you MUST run it on good petrol and keep the oil clean and topped up.

You traded your car in whilst knowing the engine needed extensive work but yet you did not tell them... I'm sorry but I think that's on the limit of fraud and I certainly would not shout it on a public forum, particularly knowing that the new owner reads these pages.
