think ford offered me when I bought mine, think was something like £300 and could have had it for half price with the new car, there are others on the market, might be one called Permaguard too, do a Google. Supposedly very good and you can still polish on top of it, I'm old school so prefer good old elbow grease and Meguiars products and of course Collonite Wax to protect the polished paint. If you really want some physical protection then there is also the likes of Foliatec film, this is clear stickyback plastic film and you cut it to size and stick it wherever, typically lower bonnet and lower doors. Have used it previously, certainly works, only close inspection can tell its on, but it gets damaged itself too so you have to decide is it worth it AND despite what it says it is very very very hard to get off if you don't replace it say yearly, I didn't and had to carefully scrape off with a craft knife ! Not for my ST thank you.

my dealer gave me GuardX free with my new car back in december. you have to wash it every month with a special 'Conserver' to keep the paint protection working. I think if they offer it you for free then go for it, otherwise I wouldn't bother.

Agree with that. Ford tried to sell me diamondbrite too for £200, but read a few places its not that good so gave it a miss.
I use Dodo Juice Purple Haze £30 a tub, seems to work really well. Havent tried any others tho.
