My exhaust bracket had come loose so my exhaust was slightly hanging and would bang against something each time i accelerated or changed gear. It went into the garage today and they came back to me saying it needed to be welded back on and wasnt a warranty part!! Wasnt happy about this, explained that i bought a car with warranty on incase anything like this happened, they said Ford are very picky about was is covered...load of poo in my eyes!! I asked how much it would cost, they claimed 2hours labour at £75 an hour!!!!!!What a joke!! Anyway i said hold off fixing whilst i speak with other half. He rang them to find out exactly what was wrong, in the space of 20mins they had gone and fixed it without my knowing!! So obviously ive not had to pay for it as i didnt give permission, but i think its bit of a joke only certain things being under warranty. I can understand 'wear & tear' items but something like an exhaust bracket shouldnt be 'falling off' on a nearly 2 year old car!!!!!

This sort of thing happened to me way back when my air blowers packed in. Apparently when I'd had my headunit fitted the ICE company hadnt taken care in fixing back the big pipe that feeds the blowers and it had simply slipped off. I took my car to the dealership who told me this and said it wasnt a warranty job so I called the ICE company who were happy to do it and in that time the dealership had put it back on.

Blooming strange if you ask me ... lol
